Is there a way to disable the entire menu client-side? The reason I ask is I have a vertical menu with submenues that overlap. Once an item is clicked, the submenu closes and if my mouse is over a different menu choice at the time, it will expand until the redirect fires. This could be an issue in terms of double-clicking.

I'm afraid not- the only want to disable the menu is on the server. I'm sorry I couldn't be more helpful than this.

Hello. It's 2007 now, and I thought I'd check this topic again. I need to dynamically disable/enable an entire menu control on the client side. Can this be done? How hard is it to add this functionality?

I am afraid, this feature is still outstanding.
Like everyone else, we have limited resources available, and we must prioritize. We weigh the cost of implementing a new feature against the apparent need for it. Relatively few customers have been asking for this feature. Because of that, its development has been put off repeatedly.

Hello. It's 2012 now... So what about this feature? :-) I tried to disable the menu by disabling the top menu item, but then it just disappears. So the users may be confused about the suddenly hidden menu. Is it still outstanding??
