Each entry can receive a maximum of 450 points from the Expert Panel and a maximum of 100 points from the developer community vote. We highly value the opinion of our Expert Panel, but the community vote might well tip the scale and select the winner! Here is exactly how points will be awarded:
Expert Panel (Maximum 450 Points)
Nine judges on the Expert Panel will award 0-10 points to each entry in the following five categories:
- 1 Technical Merit
- 2 User Experience
- 3 Performance & Stability
- 4 Originality
- 5 Effective Use of Custom Controls
Our Esteemed Panel of Judges:
Community Vote (Maximum 100 Points)
Each member of the community can award a rating of 1 to 5 stars to one or more applications.
The points for each rating will be awarded as follows:
- -1 point
- 0 points
- 1 point
- 2 points
- 3 points
Community voting will require a valid ComponentArt.com account. Each member of the community can only cast one vote per application. Voting patterns will be monitored and suspicious Entries may be disqualified at ComponentArt’s sole discretion.
