ComponentArt Sponsors the 'We Are Microsoft' Charity Challenge Weekend

We are proud to have been a sponsor for the We Are Microsoft - Charity Challenge event this past weekend. It was a software development competition for a very good cause. This 3-day event matched developers with charity organizations, in order to help develop applications for them. At the end of the 3 days, all of the participants were to vote and proclaim winners 'champion coders'. On Friday, we were able to read about one of the charity organizations helped by Microsoft's Charity Challenge event in the Dallas Morning News. The North Dallas Shared Ministries’ Medical Clinic is a charity that has moved beyond food and financial assistance to also offer medical services to the people of the area who are without medical insurance. You can read the full article and find out how this organization helps the community here: http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/news/localnews/stories/011808dnmetmedcharity.224ad77.html Knowing that our products are being used to help build organizations that will further help people through charity work truly inspires our involvement . The Microsoft Charity Challenge Weekend is being organized by the Microsoft Developer's Guidance Council (DGC) for the South Central Region of Microsoft, and is run by volunteers. For more information on the We Are Microsoft - Charity Challenge Weekend you can visit www.wearemicrosoft.com . We would love to hear from you if you were involved in this event in any way, or if you are working on similar projects in your community.
